PIATRAONLINE wins Interior Design Apartment at European Property Awards 2019

Usually. a contest means more than stimulating competition, in terms of generating expectations and awarding prizes, which act both as a reward for winners and acknowledgment. Consequently, satisfaction is associated with recognition granted by industry standards. As a genuine source of #generatingsinpiration and loyal to our brand promise, PIATRAONLINE adds another prize to its portfolio: Interior Design Apartment Romania in the European Property Awards for Madrigalului Residence. A project imagined for conveying the idea of space, this was designed by architect Eduard Baicu-Stanescu, working close to the owners, for a modern glam style interior design.
The execution of this project integrated a couple of natural materials (natural wood, natural stone, and leather) for highlighting airy lines of design and shapes that convey the idea of a high-end apartment. This project features two distinct areas – a day area and a night area – with custom-made furniture pieces to illustrate the concept of perfect shape.
In terms of architectural innovation, you have no window drapes on one hand and hand a concealed kitchen on the other hand, which allows it to act as a living room and a living room that acts as a kitchen. The living room table serves a double purpose: kitchen countertop and island, with the sink as an elaborate design element. The transition between these two distinct areas of the house was completed with two unique materials: ultra-clear mirrors and copper. The final result communicates very original the concept of natural stone sustainability, applied to a reality always less connected to nature elements.
Established 25 years ago, the International Property Awards competition includes the European Property Awards and is the global landmark for public or residential design projects. All the projects entering this competition have been appraised in terms of design, project management, and marketing.
